There are so many, including the FA Cup semi but for me it has to be the 5-1 against Barnsley when we won the Championship. Had money on that scoreline and we did everything bar score a sixth. Spent the last 10 minutes watching from behind my hands. Huckers had a great game that day.

I didn't/couldn't watch the 2nd half of the munich derby when we beat them at the swamp. Couldn't face it for some reason

Tough. Last few mins of the semi or the final when Stoke were getting all those f**king corners in added time. Talk about stress...

For me it was the Stoke game, but not the one that everyone else is referring to.
When we were relegated in 1998, I sat in the Stoke end having watched us win 5-2 in one of our few decent performances that season.
The scores in the other two games, however, made it abundantly clear that we could have scored another ten to no avail.
I sat there counting the minutes down in what seemed like hours awaiting the inevitable and contemplating how I was going to get out of the ground alive.

Until the last ten minutes of the semi-final, spent in tears and on my knees in the pub, it would have been the penalty shoot-out against Gillingham.
One other comes close, though - City v Boro in May 2005. I was on deployment to Lithuania, and the match wasn't been shown on whatever satellite channel we had. It was a case of following the live scores. Thought it was all over, when there came a text from a mate at the ground, saying that we had a penalty - Fowler. Nothing came up on the screen, and no more texts. I just waited and waited, assuming that we'd got into Europe, and everyone at the ground was too busy celebrating to send more messages. Ages later, the result came up, and I realised Fowler had missed it. From ecstasy to nothing in the space of ten minutes.
