Milan didn't park the bus,

LOL. Like Arsenal did against us? Did we win?

If we'd played Milan tonight - we'd be the ones parking the bus.

Why would we? We didn't park the bus against the scum. We did against Arsenal minus Silva (our only decent supplier) and would have left 1pt worse off if we didn't. When Mancini has the personnel he doesn't park the bus - we had United on their toes at Old Trafford, we could have done a weaker Milan team at the San Siro. We struggle most against teams who park up and batten down the hatches.

HTF that team has not been beaten in 40yrs will be one of this season's mysteries. For 39yrs and 364 days they must have had a better squad than the lacklustre bunch that was there for the beating tonight, and beaten handsomely. Birmingham, Blackburn and Wigan all rolled into one Greek team. Dire.

Because they have never got far enough to play anyone decent. 35 out of the 40 games have been in the qualifying rounds against teams no better than Maine Road FC.

Aris and City have a few things in common.
We've both been longing some silverware for ages now (Aris' last domestic trophy in 1970).
Both been relegated twice since the 90s. Both have a loyal fanbase no matter what.
Both been abused by press in favor of their rivals.
Even before tonight's match we entered with a similar last 5 games record (LWDDL).

You guys have a tremendous chance to shine after the petro-dollar involvement in your club.
But you have to be patient and do one step at a time to reach success.

Budgets alone don't win games, it's been proved thousands of times in football.
Just wait till the team you prepare becomes rock solid, everything seems to be in your favour now.
You got a fantastic stadium, dedicated fans, million-worth players. It's all in the right direction.
Give the chemistry of it all some time and it won't turn sour.

I see some cocky reactions in this forum tonight, like Aris are a bunch of handicapped divers
who destroyed the game, laser attacks didn't let the team play and so on. Oh please grow up.
City was struggling as much as Aris in this game, unless you've been watching something else.
And for what the 2nd leg is concerned, ain't over til the fat lady sings yes?
Try to avoid Atletico Madrid's example and never let arrogance get you, or you might end up
in the same fate with them. With all due respect, wish us both good luck for the next game.

when you feel a 0.0 draw away from home in europa league is not good enough

ok we are playing in the 2nd rate cup but they have never lost in 40 years or something like that at home in uefa to a british team

well played and big up to our fans who made the trip you are the heart and soul of manchester city
BLUEMOON

I don't understand people who can have this outlook. How are you not disappointed by tonights game, and have that disappointment further compounded by Spurs result at Milan. Aris haven't played in the competition every year by the way, so that makes that statistic quite misleading.

lol... if no one's been decent enough of an opponent to break the Aris home record,
then after tonight you must not think much of City either...
