What, if as I expect, we beat West Brom? What are you going to moan about on Sunday?

And it's lose not loose
Watching the shite football that Hughes is making the players play.
I really can't believe that you think that Hughes can make world class players play the Blackburn way - it just won't happen.

I agree that Hughes' tactics are shite and baffling to say the least, but he's not being helped by the players under performing and making individual errors that are costing us dear at the moment. Step forward Richard Dunne who on his own must have cost us at least 5 points, Newcastle, Everton and Spuds. Ireland missed two gilt edged chances and Robinho one against Everton. Elano has been poor for a year. The powers that be will decide whether Hughes goes or stays, I won't boo him or the team because I don't want a return to the mass demonstrations of the Peter Swales era, that won't achieve anything. We need as fans to try and lift the players, their confidence is low and getting on their backs will just be counter productive IMO.

If that is true, then how this time last year we were on 4th or 5th spot under SGE with a hell of a lot more points than right now?

Think about the 2nd half of season, worse than hughes's start.

Purely because the squad was not fit and big enough imho.

if the unthinkable happens on sunday and we loose as some think we might, my question is where does that leave us.

now the short term answer is in bottom 3 and in shit, but in the scheme of the season are we then looking at the distinct possibility of relegation . and in january instead of rubbing our hands and wondering who is coming will we be facing a mass exodus.

and realisticly where do people see us finishing.

i personaly feel we will get it sorted and mark hughes will come good and finish between 12th and 9th and having now seen the uefa cup draw i think we have a very good chance of quarters or semi

well now over to you
City are low on confidence, and low on players in key areas, so a defeat is a good possibility. But I like Hughes. I like some of the jellyfish who purport to support City much less.

We're building a new team, and there are problems, and a lot of pressure which makes it difficult for the team, and young players to play.

Seems to be the same problem at the moment, we have some gaping holes in key areas of the team.

Jellyfish? Ha ha, you performed the biggest flip flop of an opinion I've ever seen, defending Sven to the hilt until he was sacked and then you said that we had no choice.

Do you know how many players have been out this season? Its about 6 or 7 every game. We miss Petrov,Johnson and Boj(I know hes not played but he's quality and just what we are missing upfront)

In Sven's last 18 games in charge we won 5

In Hughes' first 17 games in charge we won 5

Not dissimilar and certainly not worse.

I agree.

The consequences will be nothing, he's not going to be sacked, not till the summer, I think he's gone then no matter what happens from now on, my suspicion is he will resign about the end of March, when his position is obviously untenable (if its not already).

16 points from Sven's last 17 games with a demoralised and inferior squad as Thaksin had fallen out with him months before. Yeah, huge difference there.

If you want to compare results in the equivalent fixtures from last season. Sven 27 points - Hughes 18 points. Whichever way you look at it Hughes is shit.
