So many open questions to this.

Were Lucan and the woman he murdered, shaging?

Why would a peer of the realm have a mail sack in his house to readily stuff a dead body in it.. Its not as if he was in The Osmonds, and getting sack fulls of daily fan mail in 1974

I know the fella they tracked down to Australia doesn't have to give a DNA sample, but surely if he is innocent, he could give one, just to put the Berryman's mind at rest.

The Indian sounding geezer was very curt and dismissive to ANY questions relating to Lucan.

Anyway. I reckon he went to search for the Newcastle United trophy room. He found Malcolm McDonald's shirt, then did his best Captain Scott impression.... "I may be gone for some time"

Where do they think they found him?

There was some evidence from the time he had gone to Africa, got into Buddhism and eventually Australia. They found an old guy via tracking characters who had been involved with Buddhist retreats and this one character did have a lot pointing to him being Lucan. But he also had mentioned he had been involved in theatre in Canada and this story checked out. The Canadian think would make it impossible he was Lucan.

Also his height. Yes people discernibly shrink as they age, but if that was Lucan he’d gone from John Cleese to Ronnie Corbett! No way was that bloke ever 6’4.
