Trying to get some blues together and watch the final at the cock n bull in Venice. Anyone interested give me a PM

Hey Pal, i wont be there for the FA Cup final (Im going to my mates pub down in Savannah, GA which should be rocking!)

But im in Anaheim for a conference from 5/20 thru 5/25 and will therefore be there for the last game vs Notlob, any ideas where i will be able to catch the game which is on the Sunday of course and at 4.00pm KO UK time, so 8am KO West Coast time right?

Any advice would be most welcome !

Come on you Blues!!!

Try the Olde Ship in Fullerton. Never been there for a match, but I know they show them.

I'll be heading to my local pub for the final since everything I've heard about the F&H has been horrible and not gonna drive an hour plus to the C&B when I can just hang out with my buddies who don't support city, but are an alright mix of ex-pats and knowledgeable americans. Maybe the two other City supporters I've seen there will actually show up.

ltr what's your local then?

-- Mon May 09, 2011 3:50 am --

Ok so in light of the rags clinching the title next week when we play stoke - I've got he ok from my missus to have a get together at my apartment. I've got a big 42" HD TV - we can get beers come round a hour or so before and get primed - we can get pissed as farts and watch the blues vs the 6 fingered inbred lot game without any rags around- if you want the details let me know and we can watch the game together and have fun - im in hollywood santa monica - vermont area....alll blues welomce...pm for details...

Over the moon to see this thread. Up at UCLA for the year and been wondering where to go watch the game. Santa Monica is best option for myself.

Cock n Bull should be pretty good, I know the other options could be the Britannia or the Kings Head, but ive not yet been to either. Was going to give them a call tomorrow and see what the crack is. Anyone know if they're any good to watch games?

Will update tomorrow. But whatever is decided, I will be there. CANNOT.WAIT.

Right, Britannia Pub have said they wont be open early enough for the game on Saturday.

But the King's Head sounds like a good option. They're opening at 6:30am and will have the big-screen up etc. I've heard good things about the place.

hi our yankee friends, what bar will you be meeting in the night before the galaxy/city game, we can have a knees up then meet up before the game and go down together like we did in new york, not so sure city will pay for the buses this time like they last year, but you never now..in new york city organised several things for us including hiring a nightclub for the night

About that Bolton game, there's probably only a very slim chance that it will be broadcast live in the US. ... ESPN2, Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus will each choose one live match -- probably involving Utd (since trophy would be presented that day), the relegation sides and perhaps Liverpool to decide the Europa League spot. Even the meaningless Chelsea and Arsenal matches would probably take precedent over our match since those clubs typically pull bigger audiences in the states. We've been lucky to get nearly every City match this calendar year on live TV on one of the main channels (ESPN2 or FSC), but I think our luck will run out with this one. But it should be available on delay on FSC or FSP. The exact TV schedule will likely be revealed after this weekend's matches.
