At what point/age should a man call it a day? I'm in my thirties.

Mine was well on its way by 18 and i was mortified. I was such a soft prick i use to go out with a comb and pocket mirror. Manned up eventually and its good luck i suit a shaved head. felt like the worse thing in the world at the time, though i would'nt want it back now if offered.
