I can just picture poor Jerry being sent to the sofa bed on his own most nights, crying into a tub of Ben and Jerries to the audible backdrop of sex sounds from his eerily uncompassionate wife.
Fair enough Jerry is complicit in the position he finds himself in but that's clearly because he's scared of being dumped by the love of his life and left all alone. The lengths the other 3 go to, to deny any responsibility for the situation they are all part of is unsettling. Did anyone else notice the way Joe's wife looked at Louis when she said "you are are responsible for your own happiness Louis!" :-/. Also Jerry was clearly emotional at points and the reaction was annoyance as if to say: "Stop having feelings again Jerry!" Can you imagine the faux outrage on any show where a woman was treated like that, as if it's the socially acceptable thing to do in a relationship?
Crazy liberal Americans, entertaining though.
