Is being a paedo another form of sexuality you're born with like being straight, gay, bi etc? There was another Louis Theorux doc where paedos were admitting themselves for treatment as they didnt want to be that way.

I'm sure some people are genetically predisposed, but with others it's about power and/or taboo to which their sexual predilections are a side-show. Some people get off on the fact it's wrong. I'm sure to some extent Savile was one of these.I've spoken about this before, however, the research won't bare any fruit for a good number of years... There's a school of thought regarding a gene that may be carried, current research is being done in the US in conjunction with Oxford university. From the articles I've had access to, combined with the data, it's imo a brilliant piece of research thus far...
The problem is, much like the concept of minoriy report, screening could feasibly become a reality in the not to distant future for crimes never committed...
