May have been a fix to get in the final 5 designs but the fans voted it the best option out of the finalists who weren't credited with the designs.
Perhaps not wonderful planning by the club but meh, it was voted the best so I don't see why there is any moaning unless they feel the vote was rigged.

Fixed as in assume they had 20 applications to chose from and pick his design to get it into the 5 for fans to vote for.
Rigged possible iffy on-line voting patterns.
