Why does he keep keeping the ball long in Adebayor's direction? The guy doesn't even jump for the ball.

I did a quick test last night and 8 in 10 kicks from Given went straight to Spuds players FFS

Hughes tactics, end of, another reason hes wank.

Its a given if you hoof the ball 99% it gets taken by opponents (if not the first time then the next touch), outnumbering and facing the ball!

The thing that infuriates me about Given is that he wont come off his line for a cross or corner, anything in the 6 yard boz should be his, but he wont come, We wouldnt look half as shakey at set pieces if he came for crosses and commanded his box.

Remember Shay when he first came his distribution was superb, so much better than Joe's Look at him now he tries to kick the ball long each time why? IMHO is that he is working to instructions
