Think kin was better.
Nidge being allowed to take over didn't seem at all realistic

Can't say I know much about the criminal world but i don't think he was big time enough or intelligent enough to be the main man and stay there without someone taking him out

Great series (though I enjoyed Kin as well).

Tom Vaughan-Lawlor - who plays Nidge -is also very good in the more recent Say Nothing.

Gone to Netflix I heard. Great series and far better than KIN in my opinion.

Nidge being allowed to take over didn't seem at all realistic

Thats the thing, he was woefully ill equipped to take over after he had john boy killed.
He was a permanent disaster

I guess no ones “allowed” to take over , they just do. And fail or succeed

I found kin a little unrealistic, a bit over glamourised. Tho i did enjoy it.
Love/hate was gritty as fuck and encapsulated what crime is like at that level, just a load of scrotes

Since its donkeys years old it might have been more prudent of you if you'd either avoided the thread or posted to say as soon as you'd looked in.
You'll still enjoy it, you're well invested by the end of season 2.

He's not really dead. Its just a dream and he has been in the shower all the time

I heard it's rumours that's all nothing confirmed RTE who commissioned it says no plans. Even the writer director is saying the same thing. I think the writer director has a new program there doing. As they say it might happen still but I would say it's a 25 per cent chance of it going ahead
