Yes and why not. We’re the best team in the world why not try and sign De Jong, Mbappe, Bellingham, Wirtz, Musiala, Davies Sane etc instead of cloggers like Phillips. We are weaker than last season because the the quality of the players we did sign. More pressure on the rest it’s not gonna work. I’d rather paid more and bought Bellingham and kept Palmer we’d have spent less overall and been more lethal

Bellingham wanted to go to Madrid - was irrelevant what we paid, the others were not available

This, why some people couldn't see that.

We tried so hard for Bellingham but his heart already dead set on Madrid when he heard their offer for him.
