We should sign Florian Wirtz even if it takes 100 million . Pacqueta should only be signed if Bernardo is leaving
Big drop in quality from Bernie to PaquetaWe should sign Florian Wirtz even if it takes 100 million . Pacqueta should only be signed if Bernardo is leaving
Currently, there are precious few West Ham players that their fans would be absolutely ecstatic to keep! He was instrumental in them winning a European trophy less than a year ago and instrumental in their best form this season. That their club has imploded so spectacularly in recent weeks cannot be pinned on Paqueta alone.I stick by what I said months ago. All my mates that are Hammers are absolutely ecstatic that we still want him, he will be another fringe player on huge wages unfortunately.
Pep has got round the drop in quality, by not trying to replace like for like before, the biggest problem is who is going to replace his work rate? i can name a few at City Bernie is already carrying.Big drop in quality from Bernie to Paqueta
He’s average, if he joins he will join Nunes as another average player. If we keep recruiting average players we will become average. Hope it does not happen:)Currently, there are precious few West Ham players that their fans would be absolutely ecstatic to keep! A few players being carried, yet we’re on for a double? Odd how’s that happened?Pep has got round the drop in quality, by not trying to replace like for like before, the biggest problem is who is going to replace his work rate? i can name a few at City Bernie is already carrying.
Players have 2 levels. average or world class and thats it nowadays.A few players being carried, yet we’re on for a double? Odd how’s that happened?
One of the things Pep insists on is work, Bernardo isn’t carrying anyone.
He's a mainstay of the Brazilian national squad and so integral that they recalled him before the allegations were dropped. But for those allegations, he would have been in our team all season, and with him to call upon, our midfield would not have become so tired; I imagine we would even have been playing tonight and might even be points clear of Arsenal. He’s average, if he joins he will join Nunes as another average player. That’s the thing we don’t have any average players, everyone that plays has their part in making the team great. We have a great, one of the greatest, teams, nobody that plays are a passenger nobody that plays are carried by anyone, managers that win what Pep wins don’t carry passengers.Players have 2 levels. average or world class and thats it nowadays.
The other angle is that Paqueta has played every minute he could this season and he’s now knackered in a demotivated side, so its no surprise that he’s not looking the part at the moment. He's a mainstay of the Brazilian national squad and so integral that they recalled him before the allegations were dropped. KovacicA 'fringe player' doesn't always mean "poor". Akanji at Dortmund is testament to that. De Bruyne at Chelsea is, also, testament.
A 'fringe player' can be one that doesn't seem to fit into the system of that current manager's ethos.

He wasn't a fringe player at Chelsea, or for us when fit?Kovacic
