I see nothing there that nunes with some confidence and a run in the team wouldn't offer.

He certainly had an impact today. Still don't think he's truly elite though. It was him or Nunes as the extra midfield option and we've got Nunes now.

Our next signing in midfield has to be the absolute best on the market if we are to maintain standards, they'll likely be replacing a kdb/Bernardo so we have to sign the very best.

I’d assume (and based purely on him going out his way to embrace Pep earlier this season - pre-game!) that we’ve already sorted the deal and he’ll join if he’s cleared.

He’s namedropped us in interviews about clubs you want to play for in your career and it was 99% done until the allegations came up.

Doubt both club and player will turn their noses up if he’s cleared.
