Alfonso Alves was though. Steer clear, IMHO.

This came to mind for me as well, but I feel he was more an exception than a general rule. The Eredivisie produces great talent and it would be worth a gamble on this kid. Great talent.

I have only seen him a few times and i just have a bad feeling about it, he is a known diver for a start and just don't see where we would play him. Put them tow points with he will cost aorund 20mil(ish) i would steer clear. We do need a new forward though just not convinced he would be the man
