He hasnt even played for Bolton yet has he?
At the time of the loan, Lennon confirmed they were not paying any of his wages. Basically said it was a no-brained for them. Shame he didn't play.Presumably due to the Bolton situation, and possibly to help Bolton as well by removing him (if BWFC were paying some of the wages)?
simon colosimoHe's just a sh1t Danny allsopp.....

Forgot about that.He was the new Alan Hansen according to Paul Hince
Seems bizarre we couldn't loan him to them in the meantime. I guess there must be a limit on foreign players or how many players from one club can be on loanI think it's to exploit a loophole, melbourne City will buy him from us when the rules allow.
Tiatnic!
always wanted to do that. sorry mate its just business, nothing personal.
It was for half of a season and we only signed him because his previous club released him (or he got his contract cancelled), they didn't pay his superannuation apparently.Does anybody actually know why we signed him? My first impression was he was signed for Melbourne City, but he never went there and ended up completely wasting a season... There must be an explanation?

The Australian FA or whoever had to alter the rules after him and the other guy there (Cacerio or some such) got loaned to close the loophole we exploited.
I think it was the original guy we bought and loaned back that upset them, the 2nd one just rubbed salt in the wound. Why the league sees anything wrong with these deals is beyond me. He was out of contract, we signed him on a free. If we want to loan him out to Bolton, Melbourne, Saint Petersburg, or anywhere else, we should be able to do so!
