Him or Alberto Moreno (with our nice relationship with Sevilla shouldn't be too hard a deal) next summer to replace Kolarov would be quite nice.

Southampton now favourites to sign Scott Sinclair, we should offer him as part of the deal for Shaw.

Southampton aren't going to sell him, they're making a massive push under their new owner to hold onto their academy players and are investing vast amounts in the team and only just gave him a new contract. Suggesting that they'd sell him for £10m is ridiculous

We should have signed him in the summer. We should still try and if he wants to hold out for Chelsea, he can't be the only possibility. Rather get him than Baines though.

As an alternative I think Ben Davies of Swansea could be good, he's only 20 and granted last season was his first season in football, let alone that its the Premier League, he's actually become better this season IMO. Gets himself forward whilst being solid defensively.

Davies has impressed but needs another season in the premier league before we can really judge, might be a good backup
