Good shout. Been very impressed with him whenever I watched CP play.

Have to confess I thought he was just another over-hyped English player untill I saw him play against us.

If Kolarov goes to Juventus or Monaco or whatever for 10 million or so, I think that would be good business - not because we want to get rid of him but because he could go for free next year when his contract runs out. If shaw is available at 20-25m then that would be a good purchase - he would be a long-term investment who could not only enter the starting XI now but also help us reach our homegrown quota.

I think we should also be looking at another CB, Ross Barkley and and Sagna, if the reports are to believed, would be a good addition. To help finance these deals we should sell Garcia, Rodwell and Richards as well as those we've already released - Barry, Lescott, Pantillimon etc.

According to Ian McGarry on 5live sport this aft Shaw to United is already an agreed deal & will happen.
Which is a shame.
