Luton Town (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Thank fuck for that, we deserved the win but it was much harder than it needed to be.

Kin hell, between Ruby giving them free kicks for fun in the last few minutes and some dodgy ‘ball in the fridge’ tactics at the death we’ve ground that out.

Just what we needed, a win by hook or by crook, onwards and upwards blue boys.

Good win and important 3 points. Played well most off the game but a couple not at it (Dias, Alvarez) and Nunes seemed to make us worse rather than better when he came on.

I thought Foden was our best player first half but not as effective 2nd and Bernardo overall deserved MOTM. Pleased for Grealish to get the winner.

Overall a pleasing performance and result given the piss poor referee/VAR.

The Boys in Blue never gave in. They fought to the end. Thank you City, thank you lads, thank you fans. You showed ‘em, you showed ‘em all. Especially the Southern softies, especially the red biased can’t see further than the end of their red and brown noses media. But even more especially the Specsavers needing, PIGMOL Officials. See you didn’t wear us down. Go and put that in your pipes and smoke it!!! ;-)

THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. :-)

Any other season you'd chalk that up as the sort of game that champions win, one way or another. In the context of the last few games it was more painful and there was more riding on it that there should, but ultimately we created a lot, restricted them to not a lot, and dug deep when we needed to.

A lot and lot of football left to play. Villa aside, there's been enough positives from the last five games to think this isn't 19/20. I know it isn't very City, but I wouldn't hate us going into the transfer market in January and twice if Kalvin is leaving, as looks likely.
