Could have been 9 or 10, no exaggeration. Thought Kev's radar was off and Alvarez and Nunes were pretty poor, but overall it will do!

Kev created at least 3-4 big chances, which were fluffed by our players. We could have scored 5 the first half.

What ? Kev should've had at least 4 assists in the first half alone.
 
Thought Doku was excellent today..never stopped moving, making himself available, taking people on and deserved his goal. His defensive side of his game is improving all the time as well which shows he is clearly open to learning and putting the work in. interesting to also see him in the frist half dropping deep and picking the ball up from the centre halves and Ederson at times.

Kovacic was also excellent and ran the midfield.

Gvardiol - I do think at some point next season we may see him doing the John Stones role and pushing into that midfield.....he is excellent on the ball and is a cleear danger from the edge of the area as the last two games have shown. ......he clearly has that in his locker as those two strikes arent by chance or luck

Nunes - was ok but he needs to be doing more in games like this to impress Pep and that mistake for their goal wont help his cause....

Rico - just so mature for such a young player.....always in control and when Bobb came on the link up play with him on a couple of occasion was amazing.

Akanji - solid as ever

Haaland - cant do much more as he aint really getting much service baring the very first few minutes but thats to do with how deep teams are playing, double marking him and not that much creativity in his direction except from KDB. Link up play was goo
 
Don't know how we didn't score double figures.
Still we won and added 4 to the GD, while resting a lot of our best players, so happy about that.
 
Great win between 2 huge matches and a FA cup semi next week. Oh, and without Rodri.

Really enjoyed Doku. A real crowd pleaser. Like to say to him: Keep doing what you are doing.

Lot of City fans underestimate how difficult it is to play a parked double decker bus. Not only creating (and we did create a lot) but also to keep the ball ánd up the tempo at the same time.
