I don't often post when we lose these days maybe the odd one or two but alas I am always in the minority.

When I saw 84 pages come 70 odd minutes play in the match thread you immediately get that more than comforting feeling.

Great game for Jezza today and just watched him give a post match interview. Flawless English, no trace of an accent and really open and eloquent about the game and the tactics. No wonder he's improving all the time - he must be a joy for the coaches to get the little things across that can be worked on.

He‘ll never work for Sly or Talksport innit.

Job done. For 87 minutes it looked like job done but a missed opportunity to bolster the goal difference. Last few minutes sorted that. Still feel we should have scored many more todat and those that play against madrid will need to up their game but for today job done, plenty of key players rested and doesn't appear to have been any injuries. Everything we needed we got. Kovacic fantastic, absolutely has to play midweek, vincent Akanji equally as good. Expect them both to win tomorrow but nice to put the pressure on.
