Good back line and keeper (not that there's anything wrong with the other keeper). Just hope that Kova and Nunes can be trusted to break things up in midfield. Barkley is a decent player and he can slice through our midfield. Otherwise there's not much threat on their side.

I reckon that this is how we’d line up; I expect that Ederson will start against Madrid then two of Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol will start then Debryune and Haaland will also start so this is a very sensible line up.

Sensible decisions with both Rodri and Foden. Perhaps give Walker or Ake some minutes but that would have been a risk as well.

No player should sit on the bench unless they have minutes in them.
