I fucking hate Luton. I still remember 1983.
Wedding reception in the evening at the Orangery in Heaton Park. It was for my cousin who married into a family of rags.
By the time I got there I was in no mood for a party. Argued with my gran, mum and had a huge bust up with my then pregnant girlfriend and ended up walking home to Ordsall - had to climb out of the park!
