I must have imagined it was so far ahead of the work done by ANY other club that one of its team was chosen to be part of the World Cup bid presentation team. I must have imagined the huge commitments to adopted charities, the Sierra Leone link-up etc.

Erm, the "playing fields" are currently kept locked unless used for organised football - and football happens after the dogdirt, drinks cans/bottles etc have been shifted. The new scheme includes an additional 3G pitch and MJ would benefit from a relationship with a semi-pro football team, if they agree to it of course.

Its maybe the Labour Council wanting to support a kind of workers' co-operative and maybe be seen to helping another set of fans?
