K reeves right foot your opinion is good and true. We have missed Petrov badly this season. But, in my opinion i wouldnt play Petrov and Robinho in the same team! You would have two players who arnt willing to fight for the ball and it may not work, especially away from home. Either buy a hard working left sided midfield player like Gareth Barry and play Robinho where you say or play Petrov and buy Santa Cruz to get on the end of his crosses.

I'm not sure .... Petrov was willing to track back a bit, but until we saw it we won't know!...Liverpool have Reiera and he's even worse than robbie for not tackling....he was shite when we had him........
Maybe the Petrov & Robbie connundrum is true, but waqtching real madrid and barcelona this season half their players have never tyackled in their lives, they are surrounded by work horses.....

the debate goes on, Robbie is a genius and i love watching him, but maybe he causes too many issues......maybe not......I'd hate to be Mark Hughes!! actuallly, no i wouldn't on that paypacket!

We have played some of our BEST football WITH robinho, just because he doesnt turn up every match(LIKE THE REST OF THE TEAM) doesnt mean he's a luxery. And it is not his fault it seems like his teamates pass the ball to him and just figures, ohwell lets give it to robinho, he can create something out of nothing. And he often gets the ball in not so great positions. NOT HIS FAULT. ITs still good to see we can perform without Bellamy and Robinho.

when you have 1 big buy in the side,the mentality is he MUST always play and everything MUST go through him on the pitch......this can sometimes be detrimental to the side and become very predictable......
