Lyon relegated to Ligue 2

Yet the most likely comparison to lyon who are relegated because of the debts would be united
It doesnt actually say they've been relegated because they're in debt, it doesnt specify the specific reasons within any of the reporting i've seen but I suspect it's the French equivalent of PSR. the debt lends to that problem but it isn't the fact they're in debt that's seen them relegated more the level of losses.

how many games a season do they play in france ? 7 titles in a year wow
Don’t be silly now…7 on the trot FROM 2001/2002 (ie starting that season). Like we won 4 on the trot from 2020/2021. But of course you know that really

£422million in debt HELLO

Now the Premier League should be asking United Liverpool Chelsea about their debts
The rules have been written so debts that can be repaid (or the interest can be repaid) are allowed.
And some cynics might say the rules have been written so the financial mechanisms used by the rags, Chelsea, Liverpool and the Catalan clowns are acceptable.

Yep it's not about what's right, it's all about protecting their "product"

I didn’t read it that way, until you clarified it.

Maybe it was me being dumb, which isn’t an unusual occurrence.

Clearly Lyons problems are the fact that they only have one set of accounts.
If only they had one account in America that showed 850 million debt but another account in France showing £1.13 in profit they would have been OK.
I mean, every football club has 2 accounts, (excluding those in the Caymen Isles obviously)

Dont they ?

But why does their debt keep growing if it's controlled ? United have no intention of clearing the debt or managing it,
Why do all the members vote to keep them at the top table? It's a joke. Everybody can see the mess United are in and turn a blind eye, the media dare not question them and use City as a smoke screen for anything bad in football falls at our door.

When City beat the 115 charges, I want us to call for a revamp of all the rules in the Premier League, have the right people with the right rules and get United Liverpool Chelsea Arsenal away from control of the voting, How can them clubs be top dogs and make the rules when their own club are in a right mess and in big debt

500 million in debt and sent packing. Rags roughly double that in debt and announcing a new stadium. Laughable
