Thoughts?

Loadsa people commenting on Barca v Madrid match. New thread for just us versus Barcelona.

My opinion is that over two legs no chance, but if we get to the knockouts and pull them then maybe on our best night.

and as i sit here and think about i just realised that two legs are in the knockouts too...so in fact i change my opinion, and say that unless we get them in the final, not a chance JUST YET.

At the Etihad we could beat them, but I think they would destroy us at the Nou Camp.

Watching the match now, I think it depends on the referee. If we had an English ref, it'd be great because the whistle wouldn't go every twenty fucking seconds and we'd have a chance. Advantage isn't played enough because of these fucking girls rolling on the ground.

we beat them last time and with a lesser squad, we've added, they have only tweaked.
i'll back my team against anybody.

We will be playing them for real soon so we will see.

I reckon we can do them if we took a leaf out of Jose's tactic book for that day as Barca are basically the same team.

I will emphisise due to the last few minutes events, it would be fooking hard to beat em though. doable but fooking hard.
Especially when they are in this form.
 
Aguero and Dzeko vs Puyol and Pique...i'd take us.

We'd defo score, but to slow that machine down that is Lionel Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Busquets and co. i just dont see it. High scoring. We'll see soon enough I hope. What a trip to the Camp Nou for a sellout Ch. League match or even a quarter or semi etc.

Without Messi Barca would still beat anyone. Without Iniesta Barca are a completely different side. I heard that in the first 15 minutes on Monday night Swansea had 70% possession. It would be like that for 180 minutes against Barca.
