Brennan comes on to clear things up ( as he does regularly) and all he gets is shit. Posters would rather listen and believe some shit a teenager wrote in his bedroom than anything a bonafide football journalist says.

I take it you don't read the MEN? The paper just slags everyone off in it's various sections. Not that the MEN are the only ones, the majority are at it.

Like many Blues, I was offended at that article, and the immediate aftermath of the MEN supporting it instead of withdrawing it. I expressed my opinions here under my previous user name.
But I think they realise their place should be in general support of both City and United, and they have changed their act. Stuart Brennan has been instrumental in this.

Can you please support that claim ? I am a regular reader of the MEN and have been for years.I have NOT seen any article slagging off Manchester City recently (apart from numb nuts and his red pen) and they regularly give us a lot of credit in both playing and CITC etc.
I`ll await your response.

Yaya for one.
I aint a fan of Yaya, but the 'earn your cake' article a few weeks back after the Bayern match was done purely to stir up anger so that people get on board with the MEN and buy their paper. The Liverpool Echo did it with Balotelli yesterday because he swapped shirts. On the back page it had a photo of Ballotelli with the heading 'APOLOGISE'. (For the record I aint a fan of Balotelli either!)
David Cameron is using the same tatic in response to EU's 'demand' for extra money based on a review from 1995 of the finanical performace of all EU member states. (For the record, I want out of the EU, am not a UKIP supporter, nor support any other political party and will most likely protest my vote next year.)
It's typical bullshit from people who want to sell shit to the masses, say a load of shite so that people get whipped into a frenzy and take sides. The aim being the people behind it get what they want.
If you like the MEN that's fine by me. But i'd rather spend my time readin positive news, than constant negative news. To be specific to City, I get my news from the official website or the BBC because I've already paid for it. If I want opinions in regards to football I listen to the Guardian's Football Weekly podcast which is recorded twice a week, and get the download it because it's free.
Satisfied?
