I doubt it after Windows 7, let's see what Bill and his Macintosh's churn out then.

Wrong for a simple reason, any manufacturer can make a part for a PC and it will not necessarily work with Windows as well as it should but it can still be included in your PC. Wheras Macs are patented meaning only aproved parts can be put together, this means their OS is specifically written to use every piece of hardware in your machine, making it far more stable than any PC can ever be.

Stable in what fasion?
My mate bought an iMac for about £1000 about 4 months ago. He's had to send it back three times because of problems with the hardware.

Another thing, why would a company make a component for a Windows computer which won't work? Surely they'll need a good rating so that more people will buy off them in the future.

I love how a mac tips thread gets infested with PC owners trying to justify their purchase. Who cares?? I need a mac for the type of work I do. A PC would piss me off no end. However a PC has its benefits for other walks of life. Yes there is smuggery and the style over substance argument so congratulations on buying a PC that is apparently just as good for half the price.

once mac you never go back........... the people who are trying to justify a pc over a mac have obviously never saved enough dole money to purchase one. Not a fucking smokey robinson is there anyone who can convince me otherwise.

I love being able to click a file of ANY type, and if I'm not sure what it is, spacebar lets me see, no opening specific software, it just lets me see.

Any person can be unlucky with a faulty piece of hardware PC or MAC


Another thing, why would a company make a component for a Windows computer which won't work? Surely they'll need a good rating so that more people will buy off them in the future.


Because Windows don't give access to their software code to the manufacturers and they have to guess, also these manufacturers can make them as cheap as possible. With a MAC they have to be specifically designed to fit into the software, also if its crap it won't get its patent.
