It was kicking off when the goal went in I missed it as I was watching the scrapping!

Missing spectacular goals became a bit of a forte for me, I missed Jim Melrose's goal v Charlton at Maine Road from near the half way line, I was reading my programme when all of a sudden there was an almighty roar and the Kippax just went mental!
Thank God I didnt miss Dennis Tueart's overhead winner against Newcastle at Wembley to win the FL Cup Final, still my favourite City goal of all time.....

I thought the Melrose goal was v Notts County but you may be right as i missed it also.
