I’ve been in Le Harvre yesterday and there was a demonstration and riot police, burning stuff etc.

I spoke to a couple of locals and they genuinely hate him with a passion.

I think it’s because France is a lot more left wing than Britain.

They hate him because they say he doesn’t do enough to help the working classes.
