Maddest celebration

Apart from the obvious 5 or 6 (and we all know which they are - Agueroooo, Dickov, Bradford and Blackburn away, Yaya's semi and final strikes) what's the maddest you've ever celebrated a City goal?

Top 3 for me -

Peter Reid's winner at Villa in 1990 that ended our long winless away streak. Went absolutely batshit crazy.

Morley's in '89 v Rags that made it 2-0. Ended up halfway across the Kippax.

Bellamy's equaliser at the swamp in 2009. Okay so it was soon after followed by an illegal winner but until then I was plastered to the ceiling.

Also recall getting two late goals to come back against Oxford many years ago with Redmond (I think?) heading home with seconds to spare.

Definitely Stevey Redmond v Oxford.

My choice:

Oldfield, Morley, Bishop, Oldfield and Hinchcliffe in the 5-1, Morley's 2nd as you point out wa particulalrly manic. What us? With our injury hit (no Nabba, no Clive Allen) team of kids 2-0 up on their team of expensive buys!? Could hardly believe it. Sprained my ankle on the Kippax steps for the 5th goal..there was so much adrenalin pumping round I could hardly feel it until abot an hour after the game.

John Gidman last minute free kick equaliser in FA Cup tie at Huddersfield in 87/88. Went mental on the soaking open end at Leeds Rd. A copper smashed a City fan against the fence which made people go beserk.

Manic laughter for the 5th and 6th goals of the 6-1.

And of course, Aguerooooooooo....

To name but 4....

Goater in injury time against West Brom at Maine Road in 2000 wasn’t bad. We hadn’t won for a few games but that win took us 2nd again (I think). Bob Taylor against Birmingham in 2000 and all the goals against Sunderland in our first home game back in the Prem.

Musampa against Liverpool in 2005. Fowler’s winner against the Rags in 2006. Kompany against the Rags in 2012.

Gaudino winner v The Dippers on Good Friday - helped keep us up.

David White scoring at our end in 4-2 away win at Bradders in 87/88 - our first away win in 21 months. My specs went flying onto the terrace steps and miraculously didn't break. They were bit bent though...

Too many to pick one out.

Blackpool away in the FA Cup was mental

Everton away in the Cup
Portsmouth away in the League the year we got promoted.

Was just about to say Blackpool away. Remember Lakey and Redmond going mental in front of the City fans. It was also a bit mental around the town that day if I remember correctly

yep.
got hit by a bit of roof then saw our nutters actually on top of it.
mental day.

Just remembered that we played them twice in the FA cup in the 80's. Once about 83/84 when we lost 2-1 and there was a full scale riot and pitch invasion

Then again about 88/89 when the goal we're on about was scored which was a last minute equaliser and we beat them in the replay at Maine Road. This match was the one I remember being a bit crazy in the pubs and around Blackpool town centre

My late father (Blackpool fan) always promised me he'd take me to see Tango's v City in the FA Cup.

We went in 1984. Very similar scenes...Bits of roof being thrown around, Aggro on the terraces, Alsatians and horses on the pitch shops being shut down at 10am...bedlam.

Oh City lost 2-1

Nasri Wembley cup final.
Navas and Milner Fulham.
Beast Newcastle.
Yaya QPR.
Mario Everton home.
Bellamy Stoke away cup.

anelka v utd in the opening minutes of the last derby at MR... i was only 10 and got sandwiched between my dad and other blues going mental!
