Need a massive performance from Kompany. A win over Madrid won't make up for going out of the CL but it would signal our intent for the next campaign and give something back to the fans.

This is going to be a fantastic game. It's all about pride in battle.

It's time for our lads to make a statement and this is the game to do it.

We need Merlin to weave his magic, our midfield to press hard and the backs to stand tall and deliver.

I have a feeling it is going to be a special night for Sergio and Carlos. I think they will both rise to the occasion.

im sure the south stand and ss will tell us all how awesome they were despite nobody hearing them other than those actually sat there and each thinkin they were louder than the other whilst the rest of the ground can actually hear joe shouting at his defence

Threads like this are well-meaning and I agree entirely with the sentiment but you're wasting your breath. The atmosphere will be rubbish, as it nearly always is at night matches. When kick-off arrives people just won't feel like singing. I hope I'm wrong.
