Madrid Home tickets

It said similar when I transferred my brothers to me and I sent it a mate on friends and family.

My brother checked his ticket account and it said it was with the guy I had transferred it to.I could see nothing in my account.

Get the person you have transferred it to to check their ticket account maybe to see if its there?
Didn't work, he's had to delete the season ticket from his phone and send it to the person buying the Madrid ticket thankfully a close friend so can be trusted.
What a awful ticket website we have .

Yes, I spent far too long on it today.....phoning them is a waste of time, 1 hour 20 mins wait.

I've still not got my 2 in my wallet despite them being in my account and paid for with email confirmation. Can't download them into my wallet or even transfer them. Not looking forward to a long phone call tomorrow whilst trying to work.

I had a similar problem yesterday I think.

I logged out of my season card in my wallet and then went to the email that City sent me in the summer for my season card set up and logged back in using that link. My Madrid ticket then appeared in my wallet, it had been showing Newcastle before I did this.

Im not very tech so did it this way. Not sure if its the same for you, might be others on here who know better.

I'll give it a go thanks mate.

My Madrid ticket was not in my wallet yesterday but Newcastle was. My lads was updated though in the same wallet.

I logged out of my ticket account then logged back in and Madrid appeared. I did so using the original email link City sent me for my season card at the start of the season as I am not tech savy.

Also had the error message (sorted now) when trying to transfer my brothers ticket on F & F so tried to call them, 1 hour 20 wait. What shite customer service.
FFS (City) and thanks Tbilisi
I read your post and thought I best check mine.......it's showing Newcastle.

I will try and do what you've done otherwise..... it's an early to the ground job.

Click the 3 dots - top right on your phone . Click on pass details and click all the updates off for 2 seconds and then put them back on again. That usually switches it and updates the match.

I had a scare today. My iPhone was indicating that a software update was due. I went along with this and when it was complete, my season ticket had disappeared from my Wallet.

So I appeared to have no ticket for Real Madrid! I tried lots of things and eventually downloaded the season ticket again. However once it appeared in the Wallet, so did the original! I now have two identical versions of the same ticket there.

My partner wants to attend the Real Madrid home game and my mate (who normally sits next to me) isn't in the CL Cup Scheme
Both are on my "Family and Friends" so what could possibly go wrong?

1/ I bought a ticket for his seat last Monday, but could only transfer it to his wallet or mine

2/ I chose my wallet, but unbeknown to me this automatically blocked my Cup Scheme payment

I assumed that you could have more than one ticket in your wallet (not dissimilar to an airline boarding pass) and simply swipe my partner through the turnstile. However this obviously isn't the case.

3/ Normally the Cup Scheme payments are processed before the remaining tickets go on sale. However on this occasion they weren't processed until the Thursday

Ultimately my normal seat went into Ticket Office limbo, showing as RESERVED on my City Ticket Account, but no effort to debit my bank account or even contact me and query why somebody who had attended every single European game at the Etihad suddenly wasn't interested

4/ I phoned the Ticket Office on Friday but a recorded message indicated that I would be waiting for 50 minutes.

I then emailed the help desk and finally had a reply on Saturday morning, basically offering to refund my original payment in order to process the Cup Scheme Payment .

In other words, cancel my partner's ticket even though she was supposed to be sitting next to me.

I didn't see this until returning from Orient, but my partner then suggested the farcical but ultimately inspired idea of manually paying for my own seat, and then transferring it to her wallet

So now she's sitting in my seat (for £57.50 when my cup scheme payment should have been £47.50) whilst I'm sitting in my mate's seat for £52.50
So all's well that ends well, but I think the appropriate phrase rhymes with clucking bloke.
Got same problem, done the same on my sons season ticket. Phone for the second time yesterday and they said there ring me back today got to wait and see fingers crossed.

I've just been reading the last few pages and it seems that a number of people have experienced similar issues to me when trying to transfer/upload tickets

What's the general consensus?

Is this human error or have City just not got the technology?

More specifically, why is the phone queue longer than an hour?
Is it to buy tickets or supporters querying mistakes that can't be resolved without verbal communication?

I suspect the latter

Can't wait for next season when the capacity increases and we'll have even more issues

Well there's a dedicated phone line press 9 for Real Madrid ticket issues but all it says is there is nobody available to take your call and you will be held in a queue. I long for the days of going down to the ground and queuing for hours to come away with a hard copy paper ticket instead of all this nonsense. It's everywhere and not just City and maybe I'm just getting too old to be bothered with it all as it's beaten me. Was discussing this with Mrs2112 the other day, everything in life there's issues, concert tickets, pre-sales, scanning at the supermarket and still waiting for a human being to sort an issue out, asking to look inside my coat and under my hat going into the ground, my car's having an mot today and it's costing me for new brake pads and discs I just hate the world right now. MONEY MONEY FUCKING MONEY!

EDIT...30 mins waiting not too bad and the girl on the phone just re-emailed me the tickets. Couldn't fault the service once I was through on the phone.

Just the 1 hr 20 on the phone and waiting. Also, not had responses to messages to Fan Support. That said, extremely helpful lady sorted it in a few mins when I got through

Hi all, just trying to transfer the tickets between two of us (1 ST holder and one citizen) but does anyone know if once we are in the ground we could walk to block 309 from 236 (would need to gain entrance to the spirals?)

Been on hold now for 1hr30m so hoping someone can answer me soon! :)

Edit: Can't be done unfortunately! And I've been told that we wouldn't be able to make our way around the ground. We'd be able to transfer tickets against Plymouth no doubt! Ha ha!

Anyway I really do hope this means there won't be large pockets of Real Madrid fans knocking about...

I am not 100% certain, just trying to be helpful.

I think you can get to your seat in 236 INSIDE the stadium and then walk all the way around to 210 - and from there go up to 309. Always looking at the pitch. Have a look here.

Outside the stadium, there shouldn't be any problem with walking between 236 and 309 (or, more precisely, the corresponding entrances), as it's all within the home supporters area.

Yes you can deffinitaley walk between 236 & 309. Done it myself. Once in 236, got to the first spiral in the east stand, go up and walk along the 3rd tier concourse and you’re there.

Get in early then flog the other one ;)

One of the issues is that they leave it so late to load the tickets. Our memberships were all showing the Liverpool game until yesterday afternoon. So with 5 people flying over, we were naturally clogging up the phone lines to make sure we could get to the game. Tickets eventually loaded, but it sounded like a manual process.....

I transferred a ticket earlier. It really is a piece of piss.
