Hi
Hoping to get ticket for Real Madrid booked the Tues Wednesday off work but looking for the cheapest flights is hard work, anyone know the best way to go ???? cheers

quite a few seem to be flying from Bristol as its cheaper

Me and the old man are on the Tommy Cook one dayer, we've been to the sunny delights of York and Macclesfield away so it's only fair we suffer in the shithole that is Madrid.

Hoping to book the Thomas Cook 1 dayer on Friday when i get paid. Think i should be ok getting on it booking before 9 when the points drop again.

Can't go unfortunately as my wife has had an operation, can't drive and the kids are back at school, gutted.

I did the Bernabeu Tour a couple of years ago when I was in Madrid with work, old but a magnificent stadium.

You will be in the gods but will have a great view and my god is it steep. It's the only ground where I've seen barriers in front of the seats, watch the drink around them people......!!!!!

The club shop is built into the ground on one side where you will also find lots of shops, bars and places to eat.

As you look at the stadium accross the forcourt, walk left around the ground and you will see what you need.

I stayed in the Hotel Occidental Miguel Ange which was about a mile 1/2 down the main road, nice place.

If I remember, some bars didn't open till late but it might be different on match day.

It gets fookin hot in the City, I went late July and it was 100 plus...

Enjoy boys and girls, will see some of you at Dortmund and Ajax....

Flying 10am om Mon. from Gatwick, leaving Hyde midnightish and getting head down in car once in Gatwick area. Coming back 0750 Weds. morning, space for 2 in car if anyone fancies it , split money for juice.Staying at Hostel Falafes 10 mins from ground. Hoping to do the stadium tour on Monday afternoon, obviously whilst wearing City shirt, can't wait. PM if you fancy the lift.

going via Luton (1740 flight on Monday, 1015am Thursday flight back) .... wish it was from Manchester but the cost is too much.

Best Western hotel - should be good.

For anybody arriving on the Sunday, Athletico are at home to Rayo Vallecano. Unlike the Bernabeu you can walk to Athletico's ground from the centre of town or catch the Metro to Pirimides.
Huge crowds and the fans are pretty friendly

Going book on spikes one day trip tomorrow been watching city since 1964 , went to York the league cup game Wednesday afternoon game coz of power cuts, first European away game since Vienna 1970
Seen plenty of shit over the years think I deserve this one , now we are winning trophies this one is a big one , to play Real Madrid in their back yard on equal footing I have got to be there . Going on my own just hope it's a happy trip and meet some fellow blues to tag along with .
