Can anyone give me an idea of how much food and drink is in Madrid? Trying to work out how much money to bring.... Can't wait till this time next week :D

11.05 train from Malaga Tuesday morning ! Can't believe that I'm on holiday in Fuengirola for 2 weeks so it's worked out perfectly. First European trip (other than Hamburg for the friendly a couple of years back) so really looking forward to it. Wasn't sure how it would go down at home but fair play to the wife, she just said "it's Real Madrid for fucks sake, just book it and go"

How long and how much is the train from Malaga mate?.

It's 2hrs 35 mins. Not too sure how much it's going to cost because I'll have to pay on the day. Couldn't guarantee my match ticket untill Saturday so it was too late to book through Euro rail and receive the tiickets before I went on holiday tomorrow. Euro rail was approx £105 return and the guy there said he didn't think it would be much different paying at Malaga. Makes Virgin to London seem pretty reasonable doesn't it.

Metro tickets cost 1.50 euros, but to and from the airport you'll need to pay 5 euros. There's an all day ticket (abono turístico) valid on all buses and the metro for just 8 euros.

You can also buy 10 journeys for the reduced price of 12.20 euros.

No wonder their economy is fucked if that's how cheap it is to travel round Madrid !
