Girona currently sit in 2nd, in the Segunda División's automatic promotion places. Promotion would give City a La Liga partner club.

I would have thought he would st least be in the squad. One factor is maybe Maffeo seems a style of player who is easier to slot into a defence. Angeline seems more of a free spirit who might be more difficult to integrate into a side mid season.
