During the Mönchengladbach game on Saturday the commentator said that Dahoud had said that he really prefers not to play DM. Instead he sees himself in a more attacking role. Perhaps this is why we did not sign him. We need what I have seen called a pivot on here to replace Yaya, and that does not seem to be Dahoud. Shame I like him as a player and would have loved City to sign him.

Surprised to see this thread is still open. He's officially off to Dortmund next season as another part of the youth movement there to pair with Weigl
