Am I right in saying that he doesn't play for Brazil anymore either so no daft friendlies in Peru, Ecuador etc?
Unless he's retired, I guess it depends if selected.

Just doesn't get selected, Alves from Barca gets the nod. Good signing hopefully like Cafu whom Milan bought at a similar age and they got 5 good years out of him

I'm sure I heard that the team that went to the Olympics is now their first team in preparation for the World Cup over there.

Another pointless transfer imo, might be a small fee but hes 30+ will on big wages and we already have 2 players who are fan favourites in his position.

Maicon and Micah Richards both trending worldwide on Twitter, Arsenal and Liverpool fans getting giddy thinking that we may actually sell Meeks just because we're signing Maicon! I hope Mancini doesn't freeze out Micah though with three high quality right-backs, could we see him converted to a regular central defender again?

84k per week is decent wages

one is injured and the other doesn't possess the attacking qualities that mancini is looking for in the 3-5-2

plus vieira was 34 (?) when he signed and did a job for a couple of years... maicon is only 31

plus I'm not sure his wages will be that high, its either leave for us or play in europa league, plus he knows mancini and is joining the champions. won't be astronomical wages. not that I'm arced cos I'm not paying

So we only play people the fans like? He brings experience & Richards will learn a lot from him. If we also continue with this 3-5-2 then he won't play at RB

Or when people say everyone at skysports should "*************"something very wrong
To be fair, everyone then breaking the CoC towards that poster can take no moral high ground.

It's not hard to not be rude and insulting. I'm dissappointed in some of our posters.
Pack this shit in, what he said had a personal note to me and I couldn't give a fook if it disappoints you and care less about your opinion on it. If anyone wants to come up with comments like they did, then be prepared to get told in real terms what I think about it. It has nothing to do with transfers or football and coz it was said on a forum should not act as a safety net from my reply. I always follow the CoC towards decent human beings and to be honest mate I'd of thought you would of seen that.

It was me who said those things about skysports. It was bang out of order and I take back what I said. Sorry folks

ssn still scratching around for confimation. fifa.com say its done and thats good enough for me

Opens up the opportunity to move Richards into central defence and/or Zab into left-back/defensive midfield as and when necessary, I reckon is the thinking behind this.

Bobby has already said we won't, and given the incredible dodgy performance against Liverpool I can't see it being used again too soon.
