Better than Richards. A short term signing to be fair but much better than Zabaleta and Richards who are lucky to be playing with a top team.

massive fail by SSN. they used a picture of Porto's Maicon Pereira Roque when showing facts and footage about the ACTUAL Maicon we have bought...

2-3 years I would say but then Cafu was a top player till he was 36 so you may be right. :)

He was one of the best right-backs in world football just 2 years ago. I'm sure you don't lose all your talent in such short period.

For me, even at 31 he's still better than micah and zab.

Brilliant signing delighted! If Micah is injured i wont feel as worried about Maicon filling in as i do Zaba! Zaba is great but he dives in sometimes and he was at fault for the 2nd in the community shield and the 2nd against Southampton
 
Dave Bassett with a typical clueless comment on SSN, saying "Maicon is finished" followed by the predictable reasoning (Bale) since that is the only game he's seen Maicon in in recent years.
