If you ask me almost all English players are crap just how crap.

I'm hoping Sterling this season becomes less crap until he actually becomes good. Same with our other contingent. If it wasn't for the forced quotas we'd have no English players (beyond those coming through the ranks) at City or at most other PL clubs. They'd mostly be out in lower leagues.

The good news that the paper should be writing about is that the next generation of English players look very promising. Maybe the only quotas enforced should be for those under 25 or something.

The most offensive thing in the article is the claim that Milner was the best English player at City, right after the Gareth Barry section!

Barry was an automatic starter in the best team we've had for 40 years, possibly ever. Milner was a utility man who was never in our best starting line up, wanted to play centre mid, was shite there and now plays as a utility man for a mid table club.

Comical - no way am I baiting to the article. In my own world I have rule with articles.... No clicks unless it sounds reasonable to enter or mentioned on here as good.
