Imagine the most annoying, plastic rag and then times him by 10...

You will get your average nob head who follows these twats.

They break away from the rags and then do nothing but sing rag songs whilst watching this fucking shower!

Middle aged , beer bellied rag wanna be hooligans.

How the fuck can you reject your club, because of the alleged focus on all things money, then go on to form a team that begins to dominate because of guess what? Thats right, fucking having more money, fucking hypocrites!

The fucktards cant see it.

Sorry for my tone fella's but these twats can all just die imo.

im predicting a maine road win by a couple! i saw fc utd 2 week ago get beat by irlam 2-1 and irlam arent even paying their players and played one team for the irst half and a different one for the second! now im not saying fc utd played a full side or even a half side but they didnt look anything special! and their fans are the most annoying ive heard, they sing rag songs and about 15 mins into the game theyve done them all so have to sing the same ones again and again!

is maine road a city run off team like FsCuM?
Not really, moreso a bunch of City fans who started a side to play for fun in the 1950's. Since then the club has progressed to Saturday football, and the dizzy heights of the North West Counties Premier Division (Level 9, taking the Premier League as Level 1).

I follow them because, quite simply, they're the side closest to my house. They play Tuesday nights a lot, too, so as i'm a fan of football at all levels, it's an extra game i can get to. Last season, when we were in Europe and playing a lot of games on Sundays, i got into a nice little pattern of watching 'Road Saturday & Tuesday, and then City Thursday and Sunday.

Quite a few of the regulars at Maine Road are City seasoncard holders, or ex-season ticket holders, and they've been bearing the name, colours & badge for years and years. If you're free and fancy seeing a good game for what, an hours wages, then do pop down. If not, i'd always try and encourage people to support their local non-league side aswell as City. Obviously City comes first, but you'd be surprised at the quality as you drop down the footballing pyramid. Lots of good players, clubs with history, nice little grounds where you can meet all sort of colourful characters. You don't necessarily have to be supporting a side to watch a good game and to get value for your hard-earned, it's nice to get around the grounds, tick them off, there are so many to see, from superstadiums that seat tens of thousands, to a cabbage patches, it's all part of the beautiful game, in my opinion.

A game, a programme, a pie & a brew for £8. Can't grumble, really.
