I'm in the library and just watched that brought back memories not just of that day which was really emotional but other great days there, but NO one will take that day away from me.

Ahhh the memories!
It's funny, but in hindsight, even when we were playing poorly and at our very lowest, now has transformed into positive memories for me - the staggering support City had, and the spirit of the club to haul us out of it rather than just wallowing in it. All part of what makes City so different, isn't it?
The only time I didn't feel good in Maine Road was when we played Sheff Wednesday at home towards the end of the 95-96 season. One so called supporter spent the entire 90 hurling racist abuse at one of the Wednesday players (Des Walker as I recall), whether or not he had the ball, and whether or not he was anywhere near play.
That aside, there's nowhere like Maine Road. Few, if any, of the modern grounds (e.g. Emirates) have anything like the atmosphere, and that makes it all the more special.

Great, great days stood on the Kippax or sat on the crash barrier when i was kid.
