First game 1976 V West ham got put on the white wall at the front of the kippax.Years later loads of us use to get the 53 bus from queens rd c/hill.Best time of my life,still miss the old ground the pubs and the characters.

Had the chance to have a look around again today, turned down Claremont rd from Princess parkway.Claremont (HOLTS).still open, Bee hive shut, turned into Kippax st, new houses and dead end. Sherwood now some cafe, with offices? Lord Lyon(nelson) demolished, turned into Victory st,Gardners, flats, Osborne boarded up. Huntsman ditto. Clarence ,restaurant, ALBERT open. So with the rain and black clouds it was quite depressing. City kept that area alive definatley. Drove past Etihad on way home, big smile CHAMP16NS.!!!
