I've just been past there now , as i took my daughter to school .... houses are still being built ...... it's heartbreaking to think of what was once there.

my dads ashes were put in front of the kippax street,i still find it difficult to pass the old place.

80 yrs of match going family history,seeing the Kippax stand again without the seats brings back many happy memories of my childhood.

Brilliant piece. Had jogged me ole memory, wonderful times i had going to the ground. Seeing the Kippax again really made me feel all emotional, been to a few concerts there as well. Sorely missed but glad we have moved and glad something good is being done on the site, giving something back, love the fact of the circle being put in place. I will take a lool once it has been put in place. Still feel sad though when i go past, so many memories. City till i die and beyond(at least you should be able to watch them for nowt from beyond and go to all the games, there's a thought....if there is an after life.). thanks for sharing that, really good

not 100% but i seam to remeber a plaque being on the wall of the pub called the "city gates" on hyde road which carn't be to far away from the old ground, i've not been along that road for a while now and bet the pub has been pulled down now :(
