Major mistakes of MCFC?

Appointing two executives to bring beautiful football to City in the erroneous belief that they and not Messi are responsible for Barca's success

Allowing said executives to undermine, plot against and finally butcher the manager who brought to us the success and special days that most of us had waited our whole lives for

Doing the above in such a haphazard ill prepared manner that it scuppered our chances of winning the FA Cup

Very good! And I share your opinion...

However painful it was... whats's done is done and we now have to move on and give Pellegrini our full backing if we want him to succeed and finish of Mancio's work.

without doubt Bernstein going for me we needed a business man to run things and he was that he didn't want fowler for that much money and was proved right under him I think we would have progressed to where spurs are now

I think he means if the takeover had not happened. Bernstein picked us up as a basket case and started to knock the club into shape. The power struggle with Keegan over Fowler led to Bernstein jacking it in. Under him the club had started to progress, was being relatively well managed and making progress. If we had kept Bernstein and the takeover had not happend we would now be on a par with where Spurs are today. Which would have been progress without a shadow of a doubt. I think thats what he means.

Stuart stepped in to a very difficult situation and kept the club from sinking. Sure he wasn't a manager to take us forward, but we should be glad he was there for those few games when the shit hit the proverbial, because we could easily have gone down without him.

The worst football I can ever remember under him. He broke our transfer record fee to sign Samaras. Was it 11 goals we scored at home that season? I remember he put David James on once as a centre forward!
Completely and totally clueless on every level.

Was that the time David James won us a penalty?

Correct... He saw that Boro were struggling to hold on in the last few minutes... so he brought on the sub goalie and shoved James upfront for last 2 minutes. If Fowler had scored the penalty is would have been classed as a stroke of genius...

Pearce worked under the worst possible scenarios, and did his job! Even though the football was dire!

James did not win that penalty.

James being there certainly unnerved the Boro defence and clearly contributed to it
