Liverpool Echo understands that senior leaders at Liverpool Football Club have written to the premier league demanding that they are crowned moral champions in 2023 if City win the league. They are upset at the immoral spending levels at Manchester City and believe that Liverpool have been robbed of three titles. As Liverpool are the best run club in world with the best supporters directors believe fans should not be the victims of such an injustice and be able to celebrate being moral champions.

We asked the PL for comment who said VAR has been informed of the request and Liverpool Football Club will never walk alone.
