Malaga airport,car hire

We've used Alba Cars 4 times. Their cars aren't sparkling new but they must be one of the cheapest around. You book them on line. They meet you at the airport and you pay it for it there and then drive off from the airport. You then drop the car off at departures before you get the flight back. Enjoy the sun.

Yea just around the corner from the square bud (5min walk if that)

managed to book one through interrent, fuck me that was hard work! that malagacar only had a smartcar for 189 euro so no use for 3 of us,Hertz and all the other big companies want Credit cards and won't accept debit cards, maybe i need to stop living in the dark ages and get myself a credit card

can anyone recommend a car hire firm that doesn't rip you off on the fuel and accepts Visa Debit cards as payment, can't find any

Dunno about best firm but have a look at getting your own 'excess' insurance before hiring.

The basic CDW insurance is usually standard but pretty useless, with high excess payments for any minor damage.

I used Hertz, they were great, no queues, no faffing-about checking the car over when we got back etc etc. Professional outfit. I did the insurance separately though - Hertz's insurance was well pricey!

I used Hertz last month and can't fault the service - all as you say.

Looked again for July and the same grade of car that I got in May for £107 was now £359.
