It's certainly not just you mate and to go one worse, a middle aged man with a replica shirt that has a players name on the back. I'd rather be seen out in sandles & socks!
I wept just reading that.

Saw a chap in Hyde once with the full kit including the shinpads and little triangle tab on the socks, side parting and Bestie emblazoned on his back.

I think rockin rolf had a few trips, not sure he was on mandy, but I'm convinced he had a few trips back at DD's rusholme gaff, he looked like a Woodstock escapee. Maybe you are confusing him with the wild little dancer on the podium, smallish fella, just danced all night, and yes wasn't on any drugs. I think he was an accountant from altrincham, wore some strange outfits at timesThe kid on the 'podium' who never stopped and took no drugs ..???

Only if he went with his shorts, socks and boots too.I love Paul Lake, but if he went clubbing in a City shirt, isn't that like a regular bloke going out to a club wearing his work clothes?
