Are these two games being televised in England? With the time difference, I guess it will be hard for the St. Louis game as it will start at around 2:00 a.m. England time. Here in the States the St. Louis game is being shown on ESPN2 Thursday evening and on the main Fox channel early Saturday evening for the game in Yankee stadium. The Munich v. Dortmund final at Wembly follows on the main Fox channel.

They are both being screened for free on Chelsea's own channel.

Is this true, ChelseaTV are screening them free?

If I record it to watch on Friday would it still play from my planner or will it come up with the ChelseaTV subscription message?

It says on their website free to view, I have no idea on the other part of your question though mate.

I've just programmed it on Sky without subscribing. It seems to be highlights repeated at various times in the day.

I'm 200 miles from New York and totally underwhelmed by these games..... I'm sure there will be some deal struck, Chelsea win in St Louis and City win in New York.....
Both will be as competitive as a pre-pre-season game... with internationals next week no player involved in them will be busting a gut (and I don't blame them).
It certainly didn't entice me to give up my 14 hour overtime shift on Saturday to travel to NY to watch the game....
